November 16, 2022, Mae (White) Cummings died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and under the gentle care of Hope Hospice, she was 81 years of age. She was the wife of the late Robert Cummings. She is survived by her son Edward Cummings, her daughter Joyce Campbell alongside Barbara Morin, her brother William White and his wife Annette, and her sister Elizabeth Brasher of Florida, her grandchildren Natasha Lynn, Edward Palardy, Alexia Wahl and Cody Wahl, and her great grandchildren Jordan, Jacob, Ellie Mae, Amina Rose and predeceased by baby Jordan.
She was predeceased by her sisters Ruth Rodriguez, Irene Rei, Lydia Jane Dion, and Jeannette Matts. Mae was born in Attleboro, Ma and was a lifelong Pawtucket resident, working in the jewelry industry. Devoted to her family and her faith, she was happiest when her family gathered.To say she was a colossal Elvis fan would be an understatement. She often wore clothing and jewelry with his name and image, listened to his music, and has accumulated an extensive compilation of Elvis music and collectables over the years. She even traveled to Memphis to visit Graceland.
Mae also loved to visit "the River", follow Patriots football (especially Tom Brady), and relax with word puzzles. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 20th, 2022 from 5pm-7 p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, R.I. Burial private.
